Roadrunner
Caught this guy near the feeder looking for a tasty morsel. The finches and sparrows took their leave just before... with a grand rush... and escaped the strong grasp of his powerful bill.
I recently watched as he speared a house sparrow.
The whole scene was quite violent.
He is quite grand though....

Hummingbirds
On a recent walk out to "Hummingbird Wash" near our house I caught these shots.
The first is a male Anna's hummingbird. The next is a female Costa's (love the tangle of brush) and the final shot here is a female Anna's working on some Chuparosa.
